David Maggs, founder, director – David is the founder and director of Gros Morne Summer Music, the director of the Liminus Institute, and a post-doc at the Institute for Resources, Environment, and Sustainability, UBC. He holds an Artist Diploma from the Glenn Gould School.
Bernadette Meiwald, chair – Bernie has extensive experience in developing children’s education programs, was instrumental in the development of IHMS, and has enjoyed long involvement in theatre and the arts in Corner Brook.
Gary Graham, musical director, curriculum development – A recipient of the inaugural Order of Newfoundland and an honourary doctorate from Memorial University, Mr. Graham has been enriching our community for over forty years. Through the direction of his well decorated choirs, and teaching students both individually and in the school system, Gary has given the gift of music to thousands of children and adults during his career.
Dianna Alteen, choral instructor, curriculum development – A recent graduate of MUN’s School of Music, Dianna is currently enrolled in Humber College’s Arts Administration and Cultural Management program. She is a former member of the MUN Chamber Choir, a founding member of the MUNkapeli Singers, and an accomplished flautist.

Ian Locke, acting, staging – Ian Locke recently completed his BFA (Theatre) at Grenfell Campus, Memorial University and has been acting since he was 9 years old, appearing with companies such as TNL, Off-Broadway Players, Stage West, and GMSM. Ian has recently begun directing, and is thrilled to be making his professional writing debut with GMSM’s Postcards from the Train.
